This caused overheating after prolonged use, leading to automatic shutoffs. After disassembling, cleaning, applying thermal paste, and reassembling, the problem was completely resolved.

These headlights emit a brighter, whiter light that significantly improves visibility compared to standard factory headlights. However, as mentioned by the supplier, the vehicle’s warning system cannot identify these headlights, resulting in a persistent check headlight alert on the dashboard when they are activated. While this is inconvenient, the superior lighting performance justifies tolerating the warning. There is talk of an aftermarket solution to address the warning system problem, but I have not pursued this option yet.

I’ve had these for nearly 6 months with no issues. The lights are bright without flickering, and when properly adjusted, they don’t blind other drivers. I’ve passed numerous police cars and other vehicles without being stopped, only getting flashed once – probably because I also use my LED-equipped fog lights at night. About a year ago, I installed AutoOne low beams on my 2017 Maxima, followed by the fog lights a few weeks later. They’ve performed well, so I recently upgraded the high beams to match. The high beam installation was more involved but worth the effort for the final look.
For 8th gen Maxima owners: Low beams can be replaced by turning the wheel outward and pulling back the wheel well liner for access. Fog lights require removing a few splash guards from underneathnot too difficult. Note that the 8th gen Maxima needs four LEDs for the fogs (two per light).
High beams are more labor-intensive. Youll need to remove the tire and fully retract the wheel well liner over the rotor. The driver side is tight, but the passenger side is worsebarely enough room to reach the harness. Additionally, the bumper must come off to access two of the four headlight housing bolts. Its manageable but necessary for this generation.
I highly recommend AutoOne LEDstheyve worked flawlessly in both my Maxima and my wifes 2013 Camry.

Amazon has many LED bulbs advertised as compatible with 2007-2014 Chevy Tahoe low beams, but most are too large and interfere with the headlight housing’s sheet metal, causing misalignment. These bulbs are slim enough for proper OEM-like fitment. The tabs align well, allowing correct clocking during installation for optimal light output. The plugs are user-friendly, making installation quick. While longevity is untested, the light quality matches other brands. I’ll update if flickering or failure occursno update means my wife and I remain satisfied. Affordable, functional LED bulbs.
