I bought this e-scooter to pair with our other brand’s model, thinking it would be fun to have two. While we haven’t experienced major problems, two design flaws significantly reduce our enjoyment and led to our 3-star rating.
First, the kickstand rattles loudly at various speeds with no way to tighten or adjust it. This issue alone would prevent me from repurchasing.
Second, the rear fender constantly wobbles at normal speeds. Though silent, it looks unstable and cheap.
Compared to our unnamed alternative scooter, this model falls short in value. For slightly more money, our other scooter operates quietly, includes app connectivity, and travels 5mph faster (33% increase). While mechanically sound, the flaws make this scooter not worth buying again.

My first scooter. I aimed for a mid-range experience and it delivered perfectly. The build feels solid and high-quality. It features an integrated display for charge speed and a password lock. While 20mph seems slow in a car, on a scooter it feels INCREDIBLY FAST. I’d definitely purchase another one for my partner.
Oberon –
Undoubtedly the top electric scooter. Excellent quality with large, durable tires and a robust, well-structured design. Premium craftsmanship without question. Highly recommended for purchase.

I purchased the W4MAX from their website and it’s quite good, especially considering the price. The scooter arrives mostly assembledyou only need to attach the handlebars with four screws. I suggest using a bit of blue or purple threadlocker since vibrations can loosen them over time.
With my weight plus work gear totaling around 200lbs, the scooter reaches its top speed easily on flat terrain. The speedometer shows 22mph, but Google GPS indicates it’s closer to 18-19mph. In Eco and Normal modes, the speed limits are 9mph and 15mph respectively, and the speedometer is accurate in these settings.
It struggles slightly on inclines with a 200lb load. On slopes up to 10%, it maintains around 15mph, but steeper hills reduce speed to about 5mph, requiring a bit of manual assistance.
My 10-mile commute to work, which includes hilly terrain, drains nearly the entire battery in top speed mode. Staying in Eco mode (limited to 9mph) would likely extend the range closer to the maximum. Lighter riders or those on flatter routes will naturally achieve better mileage.
Compared to Lyft scooters, the 10-inch tires and front suspension provide a smoother ride, though rough roads still feel bumpy.
My main complaint is a slight wobble in the folding front bar. Adjusting the latch helps but doesnt eliminate it completely. That said, the folding mechanism is quick and simple. At 36lbs, its not overly heavy, but carrying it long distances can be tiring.
Not the best scooter ever, but for $300, its one of the top choices. Heavier riders or those tackling steep hills should invest in a more powerful model. For everyone else, its a great option for city commutes or combining with public transit.

Not great at all. Only manages 4 miles per full charge, shakes excessively, and tops out at 14 mph. The return process is also proving to be a hassle. Avoid this one.

This electric scooter is ideal for hilly terrains! If your neighborhood has steep roads, this is a must-have. It features a robust 350W motor that delivers excellent speed and effortlessly conquers any slope. The ride remains stable and comfortable without any vibrations. I love how compact it becomes when folded, saving significant storage space…

I got this scooter for commuting to class. I’ve owned it for some time and it continues to perform well. It tops out at 19 mph (tested on flat ground). Speed may drop when the battery runs low. Typically, I complete my round trip to class with over 60% charge remaining. While I can’t provide precise figures, I’d say it meets advertised specifications. I understand factors like weight and terrain affect performance. My only note is that carrying it folded for extended distances isn’t practical – it becomes heavy surprisingly fast.

I ride this scooter frequently and it makes me feel youthful again. My son gifted it to me unexpectedly for Mother’s Day and I’m thoroughly enjoying it! While I avoid high speeds, the scooter’s wide tires, suspension, and sturdy build give me confidence and balance during urban rides. As a first-time electric scooter user, I found assembly straightforward and charging rapid. In summary, it’s an enjoyable ride and I’m delighted with our purchase!

Got it today. Assembly was quick and easy. Rides very smoothly. Followed the instructions to charge it right away. Enjoying cruising around the neighborhood since the weather is perfect – not too cold or hot yet. Gets good range on one charge. Might need to buy another one for my wife soon.

My son uses it for school, and it is a great, safe product.

I’ve owned this scooter for a year and just encountered my first problem. The company was very helpful in resolving the issue, and now it’s back on the road. Excellent product with great customer support.

After researching various electric scooters on YouTube, I chose this model due to its solid tires, rear dual adjustable shock absorber, 19MPH speed, built-in lights, and 350W motor. My initial unit arrived defective, but W4MAX’s customer service (special thanks to Kaya D.) handled everything efficiently – sending a replacement after email communication.
I’m thoroughly satisfied with my scooter, which occasionally hits 20MPH (speed varies by rider weight – as a tall, thin person I consistently reach 19MPH). The spacious deck’s elevated design provides a comfortable riding position. While solid tires offer puncture-proof reliability, they do transmit more road vibration.
I’ve enhanced my scooter with Amazon-purchased accessories shown in my video/photos, including an additional light for better visibility (the under-deck lighting is particularly impressive at night). Battery performance meets my neighborhood commuting needs perfectly – I always maintain proper charge levels.
This scooter excels for both work commutes and recreational riding. My W4MAX has delivered exceptional enjoyment, making it an excellent choice for anyone considering an electric scooter purchase.

The scooter is of excellent quality, offering great stability on the road and effortless handling. Riding it brings immense enjoyment, and its appearance is stylish.

Over the past four years, I’ve purchased three electric scooters for our family camping trips. With three of us exploring campgrounds together, my nine-year-old has his, my wife rides hers, and I finally got mine. While the first two scooters worked well, they were too rough on my back. This latest model won me over with its front suspension shock absorption – I initially thought it was just a gimmick, but it genuinely improves the ride. At 5’7″ and 230 pounds, I find this scooter perfect: fun to ride, large wheels, front/rear safety lights, easy folding storage, a sturdy tubed frame, and even a code lock. If I could repurchase my previous scooters, I’d get three of these instead. Though slightly heavier than my past models, the difference is worth it (I compared them side by side to confirm).

Impressive range, high-capacity battery, features a rear brake light, enables phone connectivity, decent speed.

My electric scooter is awesome. It eliminates my daily bus commute worries. Riding it to work is super convenient. The foldable design makes subway trips effortless too. It’s a huge time saver – absolutely fantastic!

The customer service was incredibly supportive and quick to respond. Initially, I had an issue with my W4MAX that left me dissatisfied, but the support team promptly contacted me to resolve it, ultimately replacing it with a brand-new unit that arrived swiftly. As a gesture for the inconvenience, they also included a free phone mount, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I was extremely impressed with how they escalated and managed the situation by personally reaching out. I wouldnt hesitate to contact them again if any further issues arise.

I was searching for a reliable scooter for campground use, believing an electric model would be more economical than a golf cart. While the scooter has merits, it falls short on rough terrain. It performs poorly on gravel and grass, being designed mainly for paved surfaces. Many campground areas have unpaved paths, limiting its usefulness.
On pavement, however, it excels. Reaching the maximum 20 mph is effortless. My heavier-set husband, near the weight limit, found it handled smoothly. The dual front suspension works perfectly on smooth surfaces but struggles on uneven ground.
Despite terrain limitations, it’s a quality scooter with excellent features. The large digital display, powerful motor, dual speed options, long battery life, and high speed capability have all proven dependable. The built-in headlight is essential for night riding safety, while the electric code lock helps prevent unauthorized use by children.
Assembly was quick – under 10 minutes for handlebar installation. The modern, foldable design makes storage convenient. Overall, it’s a solid scooter, though I wish it performed better on varied surfaces.
Ryan Cooper –
I really enjoy this scooter. The ride is smooth, the battery life is impressive, and its folding design makes storage convenient. That said, if your route includes many steep inclines, exercise caution. With a full charge, I typically reach 7-10 mph uphill, but when the battery is low, speed drops to 3-5 mph – still quicker than walking though. Overall, it’s an excellent choice for short trips and gentle slopes, but watch out for potholes and uneven surfaces.

I’m really pleased with this product, and my kids enjoy riding it. There was a minor issue with one part, but the seller’s customer service resolved it immediately. Highly recommendedI’d definitely purchase again!
