I purchased this scooter in July for my 11-year-old son who absolutely loves it. However, we’ve experienced some problems with the scooter not functioning properly (I suspect we may have received a defective unit). The company’s customer service has been excellent – they assisted with troubleshooting and sent replacement parts twice at no cost. It’s an enjoyable scooter, and it’s reassuring to know the company supports their products so well!

I truly wished to keep this scooter! It was my second order from them. Sadly, both had rear fender issues. One clearly had refurbishment yet still rattled. The first scooter missed a rear fender screw and rattled violently. It was advertised to reach 19.5mph but barely hit 18 downhill, despite my 130lbs weight. Apart from these flaws, I adored it! Super easy to assemble straight from the box – just a few parts to screw on. The folding mechanism worked perfectly too!
Priscilla –
We purchased two of these scooters. One wouldn’t exceed 10mph after two weeks, and the other kept shutting off completely whenever you stopped. Awful quality for the price.

This little scooter is a blast to ride around. While its higher speeds can feel intimidating for beginners, the dual braking system provides a sense of security. (I’d recommend safety gear like pads and a helmet.) We own a similar scooter that we use for quick store runs while camping, avoiding the need for our vehicle. Even outside camping trips, it’s enjoyable, and every relative who’s seen it wants a ride! The build quality is sturdy, resembling a regular non-powered scooter. We haven’t tested the full 25-mile range, but the battery life meets our needs. Charging is fast, though we typically stay well below the maximum range. It’s perfect for quick trips in neighborhoods with nearby stores. The folding design makes storage convenient and space-efficient. Everyone who tries it loves it!

The scooter performs well with good visibility from all lights and solid acceleration. However, the honeycomb tires are disappointingyou feel every bump, crack, and small rock on the road. It’s only comfortable on freshly paved, smooth surfaces. Also, the app is completely useless.

I purchased two of these for my 8 and 10 year old grandchildren. They really enjoy them. The battery life appears to last quite well.

I’m enjoying this e-scooter so far. When folded, the handlebar locks onto the back fender. Press the fender down to release it. Folding it up automatically locks it in place. Unfolding is slightly more challenging as you need to pull a lever and remove a side pin simultaneously. Be cautious – the handlebars might swing down unexpectedly if you’re not careful. I took it for a quick uphill ride and it performed decently, though there was slight hesitation or maybe I’m still adjusting to the throttle. The throttle is sensitive, offering mostly just slow or fast speeds with little middle ground – perhaps it requires practice. My only wish is for a shoulder strap since the battery makes it somewhat heavy. I’m hesitant about carrying it by the handlebar stem, worried I might accidentally bump the fender and release the handlebars, potentially causing issues if it unfolds while being carried.

Ive wanted a scooter for a long time, and this is exactly the type I wanted. It runs smoothly, without any noise, and is super easy to control the speed. Its not a toyvery sturdy, even more than I expected. It can easily hold 200 lbs. Perfect for short-distance commuting. The battery lasts quite long. Ill consider getting one for my wife too.

After buying the W5 Pro, I can confidently say it’s an excellent scooter. Assembly is straightforwardjust insert a few screws and you’re ready to ride. One tip: try turning it on before attaching the headpiece, as I got too excited and missed connecting the black wire to the scooter’s face, initially thinking it was defective. Turns out, it was just user error. Overall, this scooter performs impressivelyI weigh 245 lbs and still hit 19 mph quickly. Handling remains smooth even at higher speeds. Living in downtown Phoenix, I find the ride comfortable, though terrain can make it bumpy at times. For the price, I highly recommend it!
Tur Miq –
I had modest expectations for the W5Pro, and it mostly delivered. The 350W motor offers a satisfactory ride with adequate speed for urban commuting. The 36V 10.4Ah battery performs as promised, and the scooter folds conveniently for storage. That said, the construction feels somewhat cheap with flimsy plastic components, and the LED lighting is dimmer than expected. Still, it reliably transports me between destinations, so overall I’m content.
Stella Wilson –
Crazy. Saw them running around and loved it! Folds easily to fit in a daycab and is convenient for quick trips. Also rode this in the rain (not by choice).
Avery Walker –
The scooter arrived mostly pre-assembled, requiring only basic setup of handlebars, power cord, and brake cable. Installing the power cord was straightforwardjust plug it in. The handlebars slid into place needing only four screws, which was simple enough. However, attaching the brake cable to the lever proved more challenging than anticipated. It required forcefully pulling the cable sheath to hook it onto the lever’s edge before securing it.
Operation is intuitive with a single button controlling all functions: one press powers it on, two toggles the light, three switches between km/h and mph, and eight presses activate cruise control. A long press turns it off. The motor engages only after slight movementa useful safety feature, though it means you can’t test the scooter stationary. Once moving, acceleration is quick and responsive. Maintaining speed is effortless, whether holding steady throttle or coasting, though braking requires adjusting for momentum due to the scooter’s weight.
Despite my weight slightly exceeding the 220 lb limit, performance met expectations. It reached 15 mph on a straight half-block stretch, though my size likely strained it more than intended. Acceleration was snappyimagine how much quicker it’d be for lighter riders. While marketed for commuting, it’s equally fun for short trips or cruising. The 10-16 mile range is decent, though the 30 lb weight makes it better suited for riding than carrying.
Build quality is robustno flex in the deck, stable handlebars, and grippy tires. Folding involves pulling a knob and release bar, but the mechanism risks head bumps if not handled carefully, needing a redesign.
Overall, it’s a reliable commuter scooter and a solid investment. For primary or long-term use, I’d recommend the 300W version for extra range and safety. Ideal for campuses, paved trails, or neighborhoods, though added lighting and braking power would improve street safety. Highly recommended for both commuting and leisure.
Cleo –
So far it’s pretty good, but it struggles going uphill, almost to the point of stopping. On flat streets and downhill, though, it’s pretty fast. It could just be a little less priceyother than that, no complaints.
Elaina –
My son can reach school fast, which offers both great value and quality.
Osvaldo –
The scooter is solidly built, and the honeycomb tires perform decently, though they’re noticeably different from air-filled onesless forgiving. The rear suspension works well. At 220 lbs, I hit the advertised 19 mph, but the initial acceleration is underwhelming. Even a 140-lb rider experiences slow acceleration, which is disappointing for a 500W motor. As my first personal scooter (aside from city rentals), Im satisfied with the choice. Dont skimp on qualityopt for a W5Pro or Segway to avoid issues. I initially bought an Eskute scooter but returned it for the W5Pro; the difference was night and day.
Update: After two weeks of heavy use, including towing my wife on a mountain bike with a 40-lb bag hanging from the handlebar hook, it still maintains 19 mph. The hard wheels arent ideal, but for a 36V battery, its impressive. Im upgrading to the 48V model for $899.
Mia Edwards –
This scooter accelerates rapidly to high speeds. Having owned several scooters over time, I find this model exceptional. I highly recommend it due to its durable solid tires.
Bog Siqem –
This is a great little electric scooter, highly recommended for beginners. Assembly took just 5 minutes, and I had fun with it initially. After using it for a week though, I wanted something faster – the top speed usually caps at 19 mph, and when exceeding 20 mph the scooter automatically slows down.
Evelyn Collins –
Received this scooter yesterday. Here are the key details potential buyers should know. (Parents purchasing for children under 18 – see bottom section.)
As a 62-year-old rider weighing 250lbs, here’s my real-world usage data:
– Max range at 19mph: 1 mile per 7-10% battery (conditions dependent)
– Average range without lights: 10-14 miles
– Range with lights: 8-12 miles per full charge
– Verified top speed: 18mph (note: GPS speedometers don’t account for wheel size)
Weight significantly impacts performance:
– My range at full throttle: 6-10 miles before midpoint
– Lighter riders (130-170lbs) can expect 15-18 miles per charge
Performance observations:
– Reasonable acceleration (15mph in ~15sec, 19mph in additional ~10sec)
– Improved acceleration with lighter riders
– Electric start (no kick required)
– Handled 20% grade at 11mph with running start
– Front-wheel drive (contrary to advertised rear-wheel design)
Weather considerations:
– Tested in both dry (7 miles) and wet conditions (20 miles)
– No IP rating – manufacturer recommends garage use only (I ride everywhere)
– Battery bay requires waterproofing (my upcoming modification)
– Plastic battery panel vulnerable in extreme temperatures
Safety features:
– Adequate electric brakes (better for lighter riders)
– Bright headlight (limited road illumination)
– Effective flashing brake light
– Traffic sensors may not detect scooter without accompanying vehicles
Build quality notes:
– Pre-assembled except handlebar screws
– Some screw holes required re-tapping
– Battery panel alignment issues allow water ingress
PARENTAL WARNING:
Children will ride at maximum speed – ABSOLUTELY require helmets. At 18-20mph, collisions can be fatal. I wear a full-face motorcycle helmet despite being an experienced rider.
Final thoughts:
Satisfied with purchase (4/5 stars), knowing I’d modify it. With better weatherproofing and battery panel, would rate higher. Open to reviewing improved models for manufacturer.
(Note: I aggressively test all vehicles and plan performance modifications – will share updates.)
Maverick –
Underpowered but acceptable. The product description on the website was incorrect. I purchased this believing it would be much lighter and portable, but the listed weight was completely false. Had I known the truth, I wouldn’t have chosen this model.
Ninabu Yuh –
Extremely disappointed, the so-called dual brake system is useless. The brakes don’t stop immediately when pressed and continue dragging you forward after attempting to stop. This product isn’t worth your money and is a terrible purchase.
