I bought a W4PRO in January this year and have been using it almost every day for my commute to work and school (around 10 miles daily). The battery has been reliable, rarely leaving me stuck (only once, as mentioned below), which is impressive given the price and how heavily I’ve used it.
However, last month, the scooter stopped working during my commute, and I had to take it to a repair shop. The issue turned out to be a dead battery, requiring a replacement. Although these batteries are available for $160 on Amazon, the support team was extremely helpful and arranged to send me a new one free of charge. They responded quickly and even provided tutorial videos for part replacements.

We bought this scooter for my son’s birthday and he’s been loving it. He quickly figured out how to switch to the faster speed, so I haven’t even seen the slower setting, but it works well for our neighborhood. When he tried my 20 mph scooter, he immediately maxed out the speed, so I’m glad his scooter has a lower limit. Our area is fairly flat, so this might not handle steep hills well. Charging is simple, and he enjoys the side lights. I also appreciate how lightweight it is for carrying upstairs.
Minor drawbacks didn’t affect the 5-star rating. First, the instructions weren’t clear – we took a while to learn you must kick-start before pressing the foot button to engage the motor. Second, the charging port’s rubber plug is difficult to insert, so my son often leaves it off. I try to replace it when possible, but it’s challenging. This might cause issues with dirt or moisture later.
Overall, it’s an excellent beginner scooter – not for high speeds or hills, but perfect for our needs.

The scooter arrives in a large, heavy box, but unboxing is simple. Be cautious when moving the box upstairs due to its weight. Assembly is straightforward, which is fortunate since the included instructions are practically useless. A QR code leads to an assembly video, but it shows a different scooter model. No issue though, as assembly only requires inserting four screws. Skip the appit’s pointless.
Charging is fast with good battery retention, though the charger gets extremely hotkeep an eye on it to avoid overheating risks. This concern brings my rating down to four stars.
The scooter offers four speed settings: the fastest hits 18 mph (a bit too quick), followed by 14 mph, 10 mph, and a slow crawl mode. A handy cruise control feature activates by holding the throttle for five seconds. It includes a headlight and blinkers.
Riding is enjoyablesmooth on even pavement, bumpy on rough terrain. Acceleration is quick, brakes are reliable, and the scooter feels durable. Just hope the charger doesnt overheat long-term.
