The difference between these is night and daythe improved nighttime visibility is excellent. Halogens are on the left, LEDs on the right. Since the bulbs are exposed in a high-splash environment, their longevity is uncertain. If you purchase these, keep your halogens as backupsyou may need them.

I haven’t driven with them at night yet, but just installed them on a 2003 Avalon. The bulbs aren’t marked as 9005 or 9006. I only discovered this when trying to install a low beam 9006 into a high beam 9005 socket – it wouldn’t fit. The first two bulbs, both 9006s, went into both low and high beam sockets easily. On the other side, I spent about 15 minutes struggling to install a low beam into the high beam socket before getting frustrated. After closely inspecting them for the fifth time, I noticed the round surface where the o-ring sits is much larger in diameter on the low beam (9006) bulb. There was absolutely no marking anywhere indicating low/high beam or 9005/9006 – you just have to know, I guess. I’ll update if night driving is unsatisfactory, otherwise I’ll keep the review as it is.

I highly recommend this company and their bulbs, and I would certainly purchase from them again. However, these bulbs cannot be adjusted to the proper 9 and 3 o’clock position in the headlight lens of a 2003 Chevy Tahoe as described. Additionally, the mounting tabs on the bulb were very loose and wobbled excessively when locked into the headlight lens.
