Installing these LED bulbs on my 2008 Impala was super easyjust plug and play. The bulbs match the OE length perfectly, allowing the dust covers to fit. While the photos don’t fully capture the contrast, these LEDs are significantly brighter than stock and give the car a sleek, modern appearance. The 9005 bulb does not fit the 2010 GMC Sierra Crewcab headlight due to its larger diameter. The supplied bulb measures 0.89 inches, while the Sylvania brand bulb has a 0.85-inch diameter, which matches the receptacle (fit date 11/30/24).

Initially, I installed a basic set of Auxito LED lights to replace my old halogens, but the light pattern was unsatisfactory. After upgrading to these improved Auxito LEDs in my Gen4 Subaru Outback, the difference was remarkable! Subarus are notoriously tricky for installationrequiring access through the wheel well, maneuvering past metal obstacles, and struggling with a stubborn lens cap while working with poor visibility. Using three separate work lights, I eventually figured out the correct orientation, and the fit was flawless. Note that the plug orientation differs slightly from the OEM halogens. The lights emit noticeable heat, which I hope will suffice for melting snow and ice in winter.
**TIP:** Ignore the tabs for alignmentuse the semi-circle instead! If your lens caps have O-rings, apply a bit of Vaseline to ensure smooth rotation and prevent cracking.
The new beam pattern mirrors the original halogens but is significantly brighter and whiter, improving visibility at greater distances. I also upgraded my high beams/DRLs with Auxito 9005 bulbs, allowing me to read signs from over 1,500 feet away. The Auxito H11 fog lights performed excellently as well. Now, the beam patterns are flawless, greatly enhancing visibility in the rural areas I frequent.

These LED lights are quite bright but fit somewhat loosely in my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. The fan vibration transfers to the headlight housing and front frame, creating noticeable though not excessive noise. While the high beams perform adequately, I’ve observed some shadowing effects compared to regular lighting. A useful feature is the adjustable base tabs that can be unscrewed and rotated to align with your headlight housing’s orientation.
