This product is a lifesaver for my 74-year-old hips during my half-mile commute to work!

While riding, I turned the scooter off and back on, and now it’s hitting 25 mph. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s Christmas morning, and I got two scooters for my twin boys. One was going faster, so after my son told me what he did, we tried the same thing on the other scooternow it’s also faster. Any thoughts on why this happened?

Excellent when functional, but the battery failed in under six months and the charger needed replacement within four months. Buy the extended warranty or prepare to pay for a replacement.

After three years of using this scooter, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny. As a 220-pound rider, it handles my weight effortlessly for city commuting. A single charge delivers 28 miles of travel at speeds between 15-19 mph, with a 5-hour charging time. This scooter proves remarkably durable – I easily navigate sidewalk curbs, though it shows slight difficulty on inclines. The wheels remain in excellent condition. For nighttime visibility, it features both a front headlight and undercarriage red lighting. Storage is convenient with either kickstand parking or folding capability, though its substantial weight requires some effort when lifting. This purchase has exceeded my expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

This electric skateboard is amazing. Setup is incredibly easy and straightforward, plus it charges fast. The battery lasts way longer than anticipated, reducing charging frequency. It maintains steady speed and tackles hills with ease. Small slopes are handled smoothly with excellent control. The responsive control system feels natural, not stiff at all. Absolutely worth getting – fantastic product!

Pros: Well made, good quality; cruise mode can be activated via app; LED strip makes rider visible at night. Cons: Maximum speed is 18mph; heat dissipation needs improvement in outdoor environments over 100F; battery life depends on motor output (riding speed) and ambient temperature. I bought it for my son as a commute tool between school and home, so quality was the top priority. That’s why I chose Amazon over T**u, even though they offer the same configuration for $100 less.

The electric scooter market offers countless options nowadays, making it difficult to identify the best choice at each price point. The W4MAX delivers exceptional value for its price. While not a high-performance model (those cost significantly more for increased speed and range), it provides adequate performance – reaching about 18mph with a 13-mile range at maximum settings on flat terrain (tested at 200lbs).
This scooter combines comfort, lightweight design, and easy handling with good power delivery. It features intuitive controls including throttle, e-brake, cruise control, and satisfactory suspension. Few competitors in this price bracket offer comparable features. The companion app enables customization of cruise control, power output, and regenerative braking (both set to 10 in my case). The precise throttle response deserves mention, though I disabled the kick-start function – not advisable for novices or younger riders.
The 10-inch pneumatic tires prevent flats while providing shock absorption, though their size creates some bounce. While its range falls short of Ninebot models, the W4MAX offers superior comfort and responsiveness. Range would improve in slower modes or with lighter riders, though I consistently use top speed.
Having owned dual-motor scooters with twice the speed (at considerably higher cost and weight), I find the W4MAX unbeatable within its price category. Overall performance and features make it an outstanding choice.

My daughter used the scooter at college for just over 6 months before the battery pack failed. Contacted customer service and hope they respond to resolve this issue. A scooter battery should reasonably last longer than 6 months with normal usage. Willing to update this review based on their customer service response.

I absolutely love this scooter. Its build quality surpasses other entry-level options, especially with its rear suspensiona rare feature in this price range. Right out of the box, youll notice the excellent packaging and effortless assembly. What stands out most is the weight distribution, making it easy to lift and move, thanks to a simple yet secure folding mechanism. Having the battery in the base is a smart design choice, and the top-mounted charging port is a convenient touch many competitors overlook.
The large, solid tires provide a smooth ride, eliminating worries about flats or potholes. The accompanying app is another standout, offering detailed settings and ride informationsomething many scooters lack. For the price, its hard to find better construction. The suspension feels great while riding, and I imagine itd be even better with a seat.
The frame is robust, with wider handlebars that improve stability. The reinforced metal fender is a huge plusunlike my previous scooter, which wobbled and felt flimsy. There are very few downsides; my only minor gripe is the hand-disc brake cable routing on the right side, which can interfere with handlebar accessories like lights or phone mounts.
Overall, this scooter is a 10/10. Ive had zero issues, and every ride leaves me wanting more. A flawless five-star experience.

Perfect for my daily commute. The smooth acceleration and effortless speed control are impressive. I love the extended battery life that keeps it running longer. Its compact design also makes city navigation a breeze.

Some time back, I made up my mind not to review any Amazon purchase until it proved its worth over time. I got this scooter in March 2023, and after riding 20-25 miles weekly for two years, it’s still performing perfectly. Previously, I wasted money on pricier e-bikes that died within months C not to mention the constant flat tires. Treat this scooter right (charge after each use) and avoid steep hills, and its current price makes it a solid two-year investment. Just calculate your costs if you plan longer commutes.

Many reviews criticize this product, while others praise it with no complaints. I purchased it to save on commuting costs, especially with high gas prices. Living in Utah’s hilly terrain, I use Google Maps’ bike routes to navigate easily with the Highboy. Most public transit allows bringing the Highboy onboard.
The main drawback is drivers and pedestrians showing little consideration. When I asked a police officer about regulations, they confirmed Utah has no specific laws yetso stay alert for reckless behavior.
I enjoy commuting with it: 10-15 minutes by car vs. 25 on the Highboy. Rush hour makes the car trip home also 25 minutes. The app helps restrict my kids’ usage for safety, though I’d prefer more customization and Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. Always check online for updates.
Save money by getting the seat combo.

I purchased this electric scooter recently, featuring 10″ solid tires and 350W power. It handles regular roads well with an impressive range, offering both comfort and sport modes for 20-40 miles per charge. The scooter connects to phone via Bluetooth for locking, preventing movement when secured. Its foldable design makes storage in car trunks convenient. With a top speed of 19 mph, it navigates through traffic effortlessly. I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase.

I have to give major props to W4MAX’s customer service team. Here’s what happened – my electric scooter had an issue, so I contacted them. Their response was incredible! Right from the start, they were lightning-fast and totally on top of things. They didn’t just offer generic solutions – they genuinely helped diagnose the problem and walked me through the fix, even when it required multiple exchanges.
What really impressed me was their transparency. They proactively updated me about my refund processing and shipping arrangements. No guessing games – which I truly appreciate.
The entire experience was exceptional. They transformed my problem into a positive outcome. Their team is professional, approachable, and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction.
Without hesitation, I’m giving W4MAX’s customer service a perfect 5-star rating. They didn’t just meet my expectations – they exceeded them in every way. W4MAX, you guys rock!

This scooter is excellent overall. Its 350W motor offers strong performance, and the 10-inch solid tires ensure a comfortable ride. With a dependable range of approximately 25 miles and a practical folding design, it’s ideal for commuting. However, hill climbing speed could be improved. Despite this, it remains a top pick for daily use.

Wow, this is an incredible device! I bought it for my 16-year-old son and he’s completely obsessed with it!!! The ride is smooth, the wheels are excellent, and it handles effortlessly on the road – definitely a fantastic purchase! I’d strongly recommend it to anyone.

I’m 6’3″ and have to bend a bit to reach the handles. It accelerates VERY slowly and even at maximum speed, it feels like it’s struggling.
Penelope Morris –
Received on June 21 and used until this review (August 16). After approximately one month of use, the battery life began deteriorating, providing reduced travel distance. Occasional speed-related technical issues occur, though it’s unclear if these stem from battery problems. For the price, I expected better battery longevity.

Alright, I quit driving and switched to a bike. Some days cycling just doesn’t work for me. My commute is 3 miles uphill, taking 19 minutes. Now with the W4MAX, I reach work in 8-13 minutes C and it’s actually enjoyable. I occasionally hit 19 mph but usually cruise at 17-18 mph. It’s perfect for short commutes. The battery lasts around 20 miles per charge, though speed drops to 15-16 mph at half charge. Cruise control functions smoothly. The main drawback? It’s heavy. After folding and carrying it for two days, I woke up with serious soreness on one side. Guess I need to hit the gym! But if you’re reading this to decide C here’s the verdict: at this price, it’s an obvious choice. For kids? Hmm… with speeds up to 19 mph, crashes could be risky, so caution’s needed. As a 175 lb adult, I ride it comfortably.

I adore my scooter! Assembly was super simple and I really appreciate that it came fully charged – I could ride immediately with my scooter-owning friends after putting it together. The only downside was the shipping delay, which I later understood was due to holiday season timing (ordered Dec 24, arrived Jan 2). Aside from that, this scooter is fantastic and I’d definitely recommend it to everyone!
