My review takes a different approach by comparing the $500 W4MAX with my $1000+ scooter to prove expensive doesn’t always mean better. Both scooters are under a year old. The pricier one (rhymes with “blue”) has only two redeeming qualities: it’s the lightest scooter available, making it portable, and has a wide, comfortable deck. Beyond that, it’s been nothing but trouble:
* App-dependent (my older phone couldn’t run it, forcing me to buy a prepaid phone just for activation)
* “Customer service” consisted of useless AI-generated emails
* Handlebar caps constantly fall off (lost one already)
* App-required alarm deactivation
* Flat tire debacle – company claims “tubeless” but repair shop proved otherwise ($150 wheel replacement)
* Misaligned brake pads creating awful noises
* Display screen died prematurely
AND IT HASN’T EVEN LASTED A YEAR!
Now, the W4MAX experience:
Ready to ride in 10 minutes (after charging). The optional app is nice but unnecessary. Smooth acceleration/deceleration with easy cruise control activation. Superior ride quality thanks to effective shock absorption – you’ll notice bumps on rough surfaces but never get flats. Functional deck lights actually improve nighttime visibility.
This no-nonsense scooter delivers pure riding enjoyment. It’s so popular locally I had to mark mine with stickers for identification. Should any issues arise within the first year, I’ll update this review. For now? ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is an excellent product overall, but it should include stronger warnings against one-handed use. Nearly every family member suffered injuries, with several broken bones resulting from carelessness.

The W4MAX Electric Scooter has surpassed all my expectations, deserving a perfect 5-star rating for its exceptional performance and premium features. Right from unboxing, it promised a first-class riding experience.
The scooter’s construction is outstanding – its sturdy frame and sleek design combine durability with modern aesthetics. Performance exceeds expectations with a 350W motor delivering smooth acceleration up to 19 mph, even handling inclines without losing momentum. The remarkable 25-mile range per charge makes it ideal for urban commuting.
Safety features impress with a dual braking system (electronic + disc) providing reliable stopping power. The 10-inch solid tires ensure a comfortable ride across various surfaces. The smart LED display and companion app offer convenient ride tracking and customization options.
Portability is another strong suit – the one-step folding mechanism simplifies storage and transportation. Combining power, safety, and convenience in a stylish design, the W4MAX stands out as a top-tier electric scooter. An unquestionable 5-star recommendation for anyone seeking an outstanding riding experience.

The electric scooter is excellent – powerful, sturdy, and simple to assemble. It folds compactly for car trunk storage. With long battery life and durable construction, it rides comfortably while gliding smoothly and quietly. This high-quality vehicle provides outstanding performance, making me extremely pleased with my purchase.
Zaire –
It only covers a distance of 10 miles. It’s also dangerous, so make sure to wear proper gear before using it, especially good hand gloves.

We had an amazing experience with our electric scooter at W4MAX. Highly recommend getting one from this place. The staff is friendly and the service is outstanding.

The product claims a maximum speed of 19mph, but my 80-pound child can only reach 9mph. As a safety-conscious parent, I’m actually relieved since I expected to constantly tell him to slow down, though it would be great if he could eventually go faster with more practice. Additionally, THE APP IS UNUSABLE! It only works when near the scooter. I wanted to program the scooter remotely via phone, but that feature appears to only be available in another language (Chinese?).

The battery life is short. It still holds a charge but drains very slowly now.
Nathaniel –
I’ve been using this scooter for approximately one week, and it’s performing excellently so far. Despite my weight being near its maximum capacity, the scooter’s performance remains unaffected. It features three speed modes, and in H mode I can still hit 18mph – slightly below the advertised speed but understandable. It faced minor challenges on inclines, which was expected given its affordable price point compared to premium models. Still, it successfully handled several hills. The battery life has also been impressive, lasting considerably long. For basic daily commuting needs, this scooter is more than adequate.

After evaluating numerous electric scooter brands and models, the W4MAX clearly emerges as a market leader. This scooter has surpassed all my requirements, offering an unbeatable blend of distance capability, performance, build excellence, and riding experience.
Distance Performance: The W4MAX’s outstanding range capability distinguishes it from rivals. Its single-charge endurance enables worry-free extended trips, significantly broadening my travel possibilities and enabling more ambitious outings.
Performance: The W4MAX delivers thrilling acceleration and climbing power. Its motor generates substantial torque for seamless starts and confident hill ascents. Whether maneuvering urban environments or exploring open routes, this scooter performs powerfully and precisely.
Build Excellence: The W4MAX’s construction quality is immediately apparent. Its sturdy frame and premium components demonstrate remarkable durability. I trust its resilience for regular use across diverse weather conditions, making it a dependable travel partner.
Versus Ninebot: While both brands produce quality scooters, the W4MAX proved superior. Its combination of extended range, robust motor, and premium construction made it the ideal selection for my requirements. W4MAX’s dedication to excellence is visible throughout this model.
Final Thoughts: The W4MAX has transformed my daily commute. With its industry-leading range, powerful performance, and superior craftsmanship, it represents a premier choice in electric scooters. I enthusiastically endorse the W4MAX for riders seeking a high-performance model that excels in all aspects. This scooter has outperformed all expectations, and I eagerly anticipate my future adventures with it.

After experiencing frequent flat tires on my Xiaomi, I switched to the W4MAX last year. Bike shops used to fix flats in hours, but pandemic-induced demand stretched wait times to days. The W4MAX’s solid tires initially attracted me, and they’ve proven extremely reliable for my daily 8-mile commute over the past year. While you do feel bumps more with solid tires, the 10-inch wheels and rear suspension help. Their customer service impressed me – when I reported a minor charger issue, they immediately shipped a replacement with tracking. I’ve recommended this to coworkers (two purchased recently), and I’m noticing more W4MAX scooters around. At the mid-range $600 price point, this is undoubtedly the best scooter available.
Giovanni –
I bought this W4MAX scooter for its 350W motor and long-range capability. It absolutely delivers. The scooter is solidly constructed and durable. While the solid tires make bumpy rides slightly rough, the scooter operates quietly without rattling. At 200lbs, it handles my weight well. My only caution is for riders over 200lbs in very hilly areas – consider a 750W or dual-motor model instead. On 5-7% grade hills, it maintains 8-10mph but slows during prolonged climbs. For riders under 180lbs, this scooter performs exceptionally well. Though noticeable in weight, it’s still manageable to carry. Overall, I highly recommend this W4MAX scooter or any from their lineup. Hope this helps.

This cannot hover or fly, yet it gave me the sensation of gliding through turbulent open space. Every road marking delivered harsh vibrations, making me hesitant to ride it along the rocky driveway or onto the park’s unpaved paths. As for the historic district’s brick roads? Hard pass. Occasionally, easing off the throttle without braking caused sudden stopsthough that might have just been rocks or twigs blocking the way. The manual had minor flaws, but elements like the three handlebar plugs were intuitive. I shared a photo highlighting the small black plugs tucked into both sides, easily overlooked. I also wish it were lighter and had better theft protection.
Now for the positives, which outweigh the negatives in my view. Riding this is genuinely thrilling while feeling safer than brake-free scooters. Even my car-averse kids enjoy it. At 15.5 mph, its far quicker and less exhausting than walking. Though rough terrain rattles you, its gentler on the body than an e-bike. Balancing and engaging muscles during the ride make it a deceptively effective low-impact workout. Itd be a perfect 10/10 with shock-absorbing suspension or if you lived on smooth pavement and could effortlessly haul its ~30-pound frame for secure storage.

I strongly recommend this scooter – my daughter uses it frequently and the battery lasts for hours. It’s not just fast, but also handles my 220-pound weight while maintaining speed and range. Definitely worth buying!
Odelia –
I purchased this scooter in late 2022 and still use it daily without any problems. It’s been worth every penny. Contrary to the product description, a full charge won’t last beyond 20 miles. In Sport Mode (max 19mph), I typically get about 14 miles on flat terrain – I know this from my 7-mile each way work commute. You’d usually have one battery bar remaining (out of four) upon returning home. Eco mode might extend range, but 15mph feels sluggish.
The listed 35 lb weight seems inaccurate – it feels closer to 40-50 lbs based on my experience as an Amazon delivery driver handling 50 lb totes. That said, it’s still manageable to carry one-handed.
Folding is simple, and it stores in roughly 4 ft lengthwise with about a foot width (handlebars). Transport isn’t effortless but isn’t overly difficult either – I regularly take it on buses.
I bought it through Affirm for around $550. Anything under $400 would be a great deal.
It’s handled nails and small branches (audibly) without issues. The ride is smooth, though I’ve had minor falls due to large branches and poor night visibility. The built-in front and rear lights make night riding visible to drivers, but I recommend adding a headlamp for better ground illumination.
Very satisfied overall!

My son received this scooter as a Christmas gift and he absolutely adores it! The customer support team is also quick to respond. All in all, we’re extremely satisfied with this purchase.

I bought this scooter after test-riding a rental from another brand last month. The price was great, and it arrived within a day. Assembly was a breezejust four screws to tighten with the included Allen wrench.
I instantly fell in love with itzooming off curbs, cutting across grass, and speeding over wet pavement at night. But my reckless riding led to a nasty crash at full speed off-road (this thing sometimes hits 20 mph, by the way). I got banged up, and the scooter was damaged.
When I reached out to W4MAX for repair help, they surprised me by offering a brand-new replacement, shipped insanely fast. Kaya from customer support was amazinghandling everything swiftly and with genuine kindness, even though I didnt technically qualify for a replacement.
Now Im back on it, having an absolute blast. This scooter rules.

It’s been about a month now, and the only issue I’ve had so far is the handlebar screws keep coming loose, requiring frequent tightening. Other than that, it works perfectlymy wife and kids love it. The battery charger, tires, lights, and brakes all function flawlessly. I’m really enjoying the scooter.
After another month, it’s still working great, though the handlebar screws still loosen. Some Loctite should fix that. I also discovered that by downloading the app and connecting the scooter, you can reach 30 mph!
I really like this scooter and plan to buy another. I purchased it in July 2024, and as of September 5th, one of the bolts on the rear suspension stripped, damaging the threading. The bottom cover broke as a result, and the suspension doesn’t work as well. I contacted W4MAX and will update when they respond.
Update (September 11th): I managed to reach W4MAXI recommend using their website chat instead of email, as emails take forever. Once I did, the process was smooth, and they were very professional. They initially planned to send a new suspension but ultimately decided to replace the entire scooter! I was shocked and pleasantly surprised. Id definitely recommend this scooter, along with the two-year insuranceyou never know what might happen.

Got the scooter about a week ago. It worked fine for a few days but then began shutting off randomly. Once it happened at top speed and I nearly crashed, had to push it home. Other than that, it was fun while it lasted!

Don’t get confused by all the hyped-up scooter features. This scooter meets your needs whether you’re cruising a gated community or using it as primary transportation. As a college town resident, I replaced my car with this scootersaving on gas, parking, and easily switching to rideshares in bad weather. The 10-inch wheels and shock absorbers handle uneven sidewalks and speed bumps well. The responsive computer includes a safety switch on the left handlebar alongside the right brake levera crucial emergency feature many scooters lack.
I appreciate the handlebar charging port for easy access and the lightweight design for carrying up stairs. Bluetooth setup requires patience but is simple for tech-savvy users. **No phone is needed to operate the scooter**I sometimes leave mine at home. While the app offers a locking feature, a physical lock is better; I use my bike’s Kryptonite lock, secured with foam padding to prevent rattling and a Velcro strap.
A rolled-up reusable grocery bag attached to the stem deters theft (they’re cheap and versatile). The 19mph max speed suits bike lanes and 25mph streets, while lower speeds work well in pedestrian-heavy areas. The lights enhance visibility. At 6’2″ and 148lbs, I find it comfortable for all rider heights. The acceleration matches the scooter’s weight, making it fun to ride. Overall, it’s reliable and low-maintenance.
