It rides smoothly with plenty of power even at one bar. Made it home with one bar left, and the app showed 37% battery remaining. GPS and local speed signs confirmed it actually goes 17 mph when the display reads 19. So much fun, and judging by their expressions, the neighbors love it as much as I do.

The only downside of my KS4 Pro is the battery range, which I estimate to be around 19-20 miles instead of the claimed 25. I’m 5’4″ and 155 lbs, commuting 8 miles round trip on flat streets, using over 2 bars per trip. Despite this, I’d absolutely buy it again. The matte black finish looks sleek, the build is solid, and the thicker handlebar stem enhances stability. The under-deck lighting is perfect for night rides, brakes are smooth, and it reaches 19 mph. The 10-inch solid tires perform better than expected compared to my previous smaller scooter. Though it’s 5 lbs heavier, the upgrades make it worthwhile.

We got our first scooter a few months ago and added this one so we could ride together. Before owning my other scooter, I had no experience with scooters, so this review mainly compares the two.
With the same engine size, this one is noticeably more powerful. Being near the weight limit, I can feel the difference when climbing hills. It also has a user-friendly app that connects seamlessly, and the map feature is great for exploring trails. The scooter feels solid and well-built.
However, I really dislike the tires. My other scooter has air-filled tires, which provide a smoother ride and better grip on turns. This one struggles on unpaved trailsits clearly not designed for rough terrain. It performs well on pavement, but the stiff tires handle bumps poorly.
The braking is weak and feels cheap, which isnt reassuring in emergencies. Also, the stem design is uncomfortable, jutting out with sharp edges that could be dangerous in a crash.
Overall, I appreciate the power for the price, and it seems durable. But the handling and comfort leave much to be desired.

This review is for the W5 PRO base model, not the more expensive version with suspension. While it could be a suitable scooter for kids and medium-sized adults, it has a critical design flaw. The wires exiting the hub motor are poorly protected by a flimsy rectangular plastic cover.
After my son tipped the scooter over at low speed, the weak cover tore off completely. During his next ride, barely grazing a curb scraped the exposed motor wiring, causing an E2 error that disabled the scooter.
While including a cover for this vulnerable wiring port was a smart idea, its placement ensures it takes the brunt of impact when the scooter falls on its right side. The cover should have been reinforced to survive multiple impacts. Since kids inevitably drop scooters, this crucial component should have been over-engineered for durability – the wiring port’s protection is simply too important to fail so easily.
