This is my second electric scooter. My first one, bought during last Thanksgiving from a well-known brand (I won’t name it, but you might guess), had numerous design flaws – folding and unfolding was terribly difficult, and I even fell once due to improper locking. Ironically, that scooter cost twice as much as this one.
Now, this scooter seems like the perfect solution. It comfortably supports both my wife and me. We’ve ridden together, enjoying smooth acceleration and decent speed. It offers multiple gears and speed settings, and the build quality feels sturdy even with both of us on it.
I specifically searched for a scooter capable of handling over 260 lbs, and this was the only one I found on Amazon that met my criteria. Folding is effortless, making it convenient to carry, and the functionality is excellent for the price.
The only downside is the app, which needs improvement. The scooter lights can only be controlled via the appa physical button would have been better. However, this doesn’t bother me much since I rarely ride at night.
Overall, if you want a well-built, thoughtfully designed scooter, this is a great choice!

However, the braking system presents a significant issue – the brakes are overly aggressive. During my first ride, the sudden stopping nearly threw me forward. While the disc brake performs adequately, the regen brake requires extremely gentle pressure for gradual deceleration. Considering its affordable price and capable hill-climbing performance at speeds when above 50% battery, this scooter remains an excellent purchase overall.
