The bulbs replaced the H11 halogen bulbs in the low beams. They are brighter but remain aimed downward by the fixture, just like the previous non-LED bulbs. Eventually, the high beams will also be replaced with LEDs, as the color difference is noticeable. The old bulbs have a more orange hue, while the LEDs are whiter, possibly even slightly blue.
