These lights are extremely bright, but I had to solder the sleeves onto them. They come with sleeve adapters to fit multiple car models, which is common for aftermarket lights, but these adapters were poorly made—they just spun when trying to install the bulbs. After soldering, they fit and worked perfectly, but without the right tools or skills, this would have been impossible.

We replaced the stepper motors in our 2004 Chevrolet Impala. The fuel gauge was stuck at the 3:00 position. We watched YouTube tutorials on dashboard removal and desoldering/soldering techniques. The soldering iron and desoldering tools performed well – though a stand would’ve been useful, placing it on the concrete floor worked fine. The new stepper motors function perfectly, finally giving us accurate fuel readings. We also replaced the RPM gauge which felt slightly sticky (not as severe as the fuel gauge, but likely would’ve failed soon). We left the functioning temperature gauge and speedometer untouched.
The parts arrived quickly with excellent packaging, and the company promptly answered our questions. This repair saved us $500! The entire process took 4 hours since we were first-time solderers – my husband even practiced on an old adding machine before working on the car’s circuit board.
