I use them in my fog lights. They have a good color temperature to match the factory HID low beams. The reason for 4 stars is the significant light scatter above the horizontal line, where my original bulbs had a clean cutoff, which can distract oncoming traffic. They perform well for the feature of turning on when I lock or unlock the car at night, much better than standard bulbs. For the price, they offer good value.

Installing them was a breeze. Simply disconnected the power from the bulb housing with a slight wiggle…keep the bulb in place until power is detached…much simpler. Then replaced the bulbs…reconnected the power with the new bulb securely fitted in the housing. Must say the new bulb sits tighter and more stable in the fog light housing than the original one I replaced!! Incredibly bright!!!! When my son and I switched them on, I think we nearly blinded the two cars ahead of us. Opted for bright amber to enhance fog and snow visibility while reducing glare. During last night’s drive, I observed significantly improved peripheral visibility and better illumination on turns. So intense that I treated them like high beams, turning them off when approaching or following other vehicles. Planning to have my son drive behind me to check if they’re too harsh for oncoming or leading traffic and will update. Also slightly concerned about potential glare from the light’s intensity. Will test in rain, fog, and snow to evaluate glare levels. Solid product…for now.

These bulbs are a huge upgrade over the factory-installed ones, especially on poorly lit roads with frequent deer crossings where every bit of light helps. Installation isn’t the simplest – blame Nissan’s designers who apparently assume all drivers have hands as small as a child’s. The Hi/Lo function works perfectly with instant response. There’s a slight strobe effect visible through digital cameras due to the technology, but it’s undetectable to the naked eye. Always install using the provided gloves or properly sized ones – the included gloves are ridiculously small. Avoid touching the bulbs with bare hands as skin oils will reduce their lifespan, so keep them clean at all costs.
