I got a new set of fog lights for my Mitsubishi Outlander GT, but they came with old halogen bulbs. I’m installing these LED H11 replacements that provide about four times more light output and match the color of the LED D2R bulbs I swapped for the original xenon headlights. With these fog lights on, the nighttime visibility on low beam surpasses older cars with dim yellow halogens. It’s frustrating that the bright beam automatically turns off the fog lights.

These things are amazing! The headlights on my 2014 Sonata were getting heavily oxidized, making my HIDs grow increasingly dim. As a repeat HIKARI customer who previously used the ultra series bulbs, I recently installed these new bulbs in my Ram truck’s fog lights. They offer a whiter color and better light throw than the previous ultra series. While I’d love to upgrade my low beams too, accessing the headlight housing in Ram trucks is time-consuming. The bulbs themselves are easy to install – the challenge lies in reaching the installation area. They perform exceptionally well, though I can’t speak to their longevity yet (my ultra series lasted two years). Note that I kept the anti-flicker boxes from my previous installation, which I believe Ram trucks require for proper functionality. With only a short time remaining on my lease, I’m thoroughly impressed with these bulbs overall.
