Even though we live on a steep hill, he can ride it uphill after cruising around with no problems. We haven’t encountered any issues at all. I bought this scooter for commuting after noticing gas prices creeping up, hoping to save fuel since my truck isn’t fuel-efficient. Unboxing required minimal assembly – just attaching the handlebars using the included tools to tighten six bolts. After setup, I took it for a spin using its pre-charged battery. The motor performs well, reaching 19 mph despite my 205 lb weight. I disabled kick-start for direct throttle acceleration, though wheelspin occurs if I lean back or encounter gravel. Hill climbing shows slight speed reduction. Regarding the stiff rear suspension mentioned by others, I adjusted the spring nuts to allow some sag, significantly improving bump absorption. While solid tires make the ride somewhat rough, adding a front suspension fork (if W5Pro offers one) would greatly enhance comfort. Overall, I’m satisfied with this scooter.
UPDATE: Attempting to angle the brake lever downward caused an F1 brake error by damaging internal wiring. W5Pro is sending a replacement handlebar – warning to others not to adjust the lever position.
