My son isn’t as thrilled with this scooter as I expected because it’s slower than other electric models he’s tried. While it gains speed downhill, it struggles uphill C which is problematic in our hilly area. This might work better as a beginner scooter for younger children. For a 9-year-old, it simply doesn’t provide enough speed. Assembly was straightforward, and the construction appears solid and well-built. The main drawback is its sluggish performance.

The app connection proved equally simple and user-friendly. Featuring three speed levels with customizable limits, the scooter offers multiple modes: Eco, Sport, and Normal. Eco mode operates solely on level one, while Sport mode unlocks full third-level capability. For safety reasons, I initially set it to Eco mode since it’s my child’s first scooter. The build quality is outstanding C a well-made product that’s absolutely worth recommending. We’re thoroughly satisfied with our purchase!

My only issue was the delivery timeit took two weeks instead of the one week promised in the app. That’s why I rated it 4/5, but the scooter itself is great, and I’d consider purchasing it.

Assembling the handle is easy and straightforward, and operation is simple with just one button and a rear brake. It moves at a slow pace, which is ideal since you wouldn’t want kids speeding off too fast. Keep in mind this model doesn’t fold – once the handle is installed, it stays fixed. The charger works efficiently, which is a plus. The deck has a non-slip, sandpaper-like texture that might be rough on little knees, so make sure to equip them with knee and elbow pads plus a helmet before letting them ride.

I really like this product and would have given it a higher rating if not for a couple issues. After 10 miles, the rear deflector fell off, and at 26 miles, the taillight/blinker assembly came loose. I couldn’t find the deflector but thankfully recovered the light assembly, which I can glue back on. Without these problems, it would deserve a better rating.
Here’s what I appreciate: It’s an affordable way to save gas for commuting and exercise with my dog since my knees prevent running. Setup was simple, and Bluetooth app connection worked well (scan the included QR code to avoid downloading the wrong app). The headlight, taillights, and blinkers provide good safety features. Despite my 250lb weight, it reaches 18 mph without issue. The folding mechanism is convenient for storage, even fitting in my work locker. Cruise control took some getting used to but is helpful for maintaining pace with my dog’s 6mph walking speed.
Overall, I recommend it with caution: regularly check and tighten nuts/bolts, and listen for loose parts. Additionally, rounding the foot platform edges would prevent ankle bumps against the hard steel edges. Hope this helps!
