While it’s advertised for ages 6-14, I believe the maximum age should be 9it would be too small for a teenager. The scooter runs smoothly at a safe speed. She rode for over an hour before needing a charge. The lights make it visible and safe in the dark. I love that it folds in half for easy storage. A full charge takes about 3 hours.

The non-adjustable handlebar is a major oversight. At 5’4″, which is fairly average for a woman, I find the bar uncomfortably high. I genuinely wanted to enjoy this electric scooter despite low expectations. Its 19-mile range was more than sufficient since I’d typically only ride 5-10 miles at a time. While it reaches 19 mph, my needs were modest at 4-5 mph. The 260 lb weight capacity was reassuring, though I weigh half that. Nighttime lights and the 5.5-hour recharge time (manageable overnight) were positives. However, I’ll likely return it because adjustable handlebars seem like such a basic feature – it never occurred to me to check. Spending $340 only to discover this obvious flaw is frustrating.

Perfectly suited for its price range, this bike provides a convenient way to travel short distances while incorporating exercise into your routine – eliminating the need to drive.

I purchased the scooter a year ago when I started a new job in the city. I take it on the train and ride to the office, then ride back to the train in the evening. It handles well. After three months, the rear fender latch came loose and fell off. I reattached it several times over the next few months, but it eventually fell off between the platform and train and was lost. Now I can’t securely close the scooter.
At 240lbs, I ride daily with a backpack for about one mile to and from work, tackling gradual hills that slow the scooter below 10mph but are manageable. Steep inclines would stop it, but luckily my route has none.
The left turn signal is gone completely, while the right one still works. The rear reflectors are shattered, and the brake light disappeared long ago, likely from daily trunk storage.
Cruise control was useful but stopped working, forcing me to hold the throttle constantly. I hoped to fix this via the app, but it’s terrible. Never discard the QR code on the display before downloading the appthe correct version isn’t in app stores but must be found online with specific permissions. Despite hours of attempts, I never connected the scooter to the app. Customer support is useless post-purchase.
That said, the scooter is excellent! After over a year of daily commuting, it performs well even with my weight. I’d buy it again but would reinforce the latch with glue, handle the brake light carefully, and protect the fragile turn signals. Great scooter, just no customer support.

I bought two 5th Wheel V30 Pro scooters and found the setup process very simple. The packaging was secure and the instructions were clear. After assembly, the V30 Pros were fully charged and ready to use. The ride quality is smooth. I selected the V30 Pro for its larger 10-inch wheels, though the ride remains somewhat bumpy. The advertised top speed is 18mph, but on flat ground we only reached 15-16mph. My children weigh under 110lbs each while I’m 180lbs. We haven’t fully tested the battery range yet. Regarding reliability, only time will show. As first-time e-scooter owners, we hoped for a less bumpy ride and the promised 18mph top speed.
UPDATE (8/16): 5th Wheel’s customer support reached out with helpful solutions for my concerns. Helpful tip: The V30 Pro has adjustable speed settings, which is perfect for controlling my kids’ riding speed. I’m so satisfied with my two V30 Pros that I’m considering buying another 5th Wheel scooter! These are excellent electric scooters with outstanding customer support.
