I skipped the instructions, and when I first laid it back, it didnt lock into placetook a moment to solve that. Not a big issue, though; the front just releases, and with one motion, its ready to stand or fold. The speed is smooth and surprisingly fastfaster than Id ever ride! The battery holds its charge well, even after sitting unused in my car for a week. Its lighter than other models Ive tried, with a straightforward, intuitive design, and its comfortable to ride.

The battery life is solid, and it reaches the advertised 19mph speed. The lower-wattage motor extends battery life compared to other models, though it struggles slightly on hills. For a $500 scooter, it performs exceptionally wellI can even kick-push to boost speed and conserve battery. I’m planning to add skid rails underneath for extra protection. Occasionally, the battery indicator underestimates the remaining charge. Once, while riding home, it showed one flashing red bar, but after switching to slow mode and restarting, it displayed two green bars. I made it home in sport mode with 25% battery left, despite initially thinking I wouldn’t.

I reside in a hilly region with some quite steep inclines, and this handles them reasonably well. Depending on the hill’s gradient and your speed before ascending, the speed may drop to around 5-15 km/h. One drawback is the somewhat confusing cruise control system. It occasionally malfunctions. Often when I need to maintain a certain speed, it activates just as I need to change it. Since I don’t have access to perfectly flat roads, I wish the cruise control were easier to engage. I’d prefer a simple button to set and maintain my desired speed (like 15 km/h) without continuous throttle input.
Major disadvantage: The battery doesn’t provide 20 miles per charge. This might be because I typically ride at 25-30 km/h, plus the energy demands of climbing hills (about 2 minutes of ascent). My daily commute is 0.5 miles each way (1 mile total), requiring daily charging to ensure reliable round trips (sometimes every other day works). Without hills, the range would be more trustworthy. But with inclines, once battery level drops to three bars, hill climbing becomes unreliable, and even at 12 km/h on flat terrain, you’d only have about 5-10 minutes of remaining ride time.
