Press the only button to turn it on. Have the child step on that same button and hold it down while pushing to gain speed. Once moving, it will start… Green lights indicate slower speed. Double-tap the button for higher speed (side LEDs will change color), then keep pressing the button with the foot while pushing forward.
Not a bad product overall if they improve the instructions and fix the misleading listing.
Not sure about battery life since my toddler lost interest quickly… She’s still learning. The size works well for a taller-than-average almost 4-year-old.
